We believe that all people, no matter how severe their disabilities, should be given the opportunity to achieve their maximum potential.

At Berkshire Meadows, we work to provide the best care and education that expertise, technology and experience can offer. Our goal is for children and young adults to become as independent as possible, more self-sufficient and empowered, and better able to exercise some control over their own lives, and to function productively and happily as integral members of their family and the larger community.

Berkshire Meadows is a private, non-profit, year-round residential school and program for people of all ages who are severely developmentally delayed and may be multiply disabled.

Nestled in the serene beauty of the Berkshire Hills, Berkshire Meadows' carefully designed 15-acre setting houses attractive homes, a cheerful Learning Center equipped with state-of-the-art teaching aids, and extensive physical therapy facilities, including a therapy pool, and a Hubbard Tank. Berkshire Meadows also has a day program for adults who may partake in therapeutic services offered in the Learning Center. We have adapted apartments and an assisted living program in the surrounding community for some of our young adults.
